This victory is a significant breakthrough and will reduce some of the suffering faced by around 70 million chickens each year!
Campaigning for Lidl to commit to the Better Chicken Commitment in full began in 2022 and will continue until Lidl ends the use of fast-growing breeds of chicken.
In July 2022, Animal Charity Evaluators (ACE) awarded $910,000 to organisations and projects around the world as part of their sixth round of Movement Grants. These projects are now complete, and ACE is excited to share their accomplishments.

Global Catastrophic Risk Reduction
Doneer Effectief recently raised €499,497 for Project InnerSpace based on Giving Green's research!
Project InnerSpace combats climate change by expanding access to geothermal energy, which can supply carbon-free heat and electricity. They believe geothermal energy is crucial due to its ability to offer reliable, on-demand electricity, addressing the intermittent nature of wind and solar power. Donations advance the next generation of clean energy from the Earth for the Earth.
During the year-end giving season in 2023, a jury of Dutch and Flemish academics analysed reports of high-impact charities from evaluators like Giving Green. The final selections were unveiled at a sold-out event in Rotterdam.
